Grizz Lee x Backpack Kid x Yxng Ched x Silent Ave: The Viral Collab Taking Over October

Recently in an unreleased podcast series, artist Grizz Lee opened up about the ups and downs of planning his first big tour.

Originally, he was connected to Halo Touring through a former manager of Aaron Carter, famous for writing I Like Candy. This manager, known only as “Louie,” convinced Grizz Lee to pay him, alleging ties to Halo Touring. After payment, Louie vanished. When Grizz contacted Halo directly, they said they had never made a deal for his tour with anyone.

Instead of shutting the door, Phil from Halo Touring listened and wanted to help. He explained that Grizz was one of many promoter victims — the kind of thing that can discourage new artists from paying for features or touring. That conversation turned into an opportunity: a legitimate, Halo Touring–led tour.

As plans formed, Grizz reached out to Backpack Kid — the internet icon with about 3.6M on TikTok and 1.4M on Instagram — who loved the idea and joined wholeheartedly. Now booking is buzzing — tag your city if you want in.

Even better, three of the core performers — Grizz Lee, Yxng Ched, and Silent Ave — are Kansas locals. Homegrown artists, stepping onto a national stage alongside a viral name like Backpack Kid.

Topeka, this one’s for us: when the tour hits Topeka on Oct 25, it’s more than a show — it’s proof that big dreams can start small and echo nationwide.
